I recently had the chance to test Valeri, a script font from Script Amp, in a real web design project. The task? Redesigning the homepage for a small creative coaching website that needed a fresh, modern look with a warm and approachable vibe. Lastly, Valeri isn’t ideal for long blocks of text. Even if you stretch it beyond its intended purpose, it won’t hold up well in dense layouts like dashboards, legal disclaimers, or lengthy blog posts. Stick to it as a display font, and you’ll get the most out of its charm.
Technical Considerations and Licensing
Before deploying Valeri on a live site, I checked the file formats included. It supports WOFF and TTF, which are widely compatible across browsers and platforms. Webfont availability is important for performance, and if your project requires fast-loading assets, be sure to optimize the font files accordingly.
Multilingual support is solid for English and common European languages, which was good news since the client plans to expand into international markets. Always double-check the specific glyphs you need before finalizing a design, especially if you're working with non-Latin scripts.
Licensing is straightforward and clearly outlined. Since the client sells digital products and online courses, we needed to confirm that the commercial license allowed usage in digital downloads and web-based materials. Make sure to review the licensing terms carefully if you're planning to use Valeri in client projects, online stores, or branded templates.

By the end of the project, Valeri had become one of my favorite go-to fonts for digital branding. It helped create a cohesive brand identity across multiple touchpoints—from the homepage header to the newsletter sign-up button.
